dude...JAPAN WAS THE PPL COMPLAINING....they dont like the lowerd difficulty( preschool kids can play it with ease)

dude what does it sells have to do anything????...DQ will sell on name alone, because it sold 3 mill doesnt it mean it doesn't have problems....dude im gettin the impression you think Sales=quality...not saying DQ has bad quality( im sure its AAA material)

Do you read everything in my post?

I asked you how many people bought the game to make a comparison. How many bought it and how many complained about it. I edited my post, go and take another look. Read carefully, and you are going to understand.

 

And yeah, some people don't like lowered difficulty... but no game is perfect. I could easily complain that GoW was too short (took me less than 7 hours the first time) but you can't have it all. I could say that Brawl has a faulty online.... i could say a lot of stuff for a lot of great games.

 

I'm telling you, if 404 people out of 3 million complain about the game.... pfff does it really matter?

 

PS I'm also waiting for the game ^_^

I believe this really is a non-issue here...

1) These so-called "fan reviews" are from the amazon.co.jp....you don't even have to show proof of purchase to get the game; where is the legitimacy of such reviews then?


2) If many of the reviews are made BEFORE the game was released, do you think they would know how the game really is?


3) Like others have said, this generation has been the generation of bitching and moaning...we allow a minuscule percentage of loud-mouth gamers scream on the top of their lungs about their hatred of such-and-such game and the funny part is...is that we actually listen to them.


and finally 4) The game is easy? The game is childish looking? Of course it is! I will admit that I am not its biggest fan (have only owned and finished DQ8), but from what I remember, it is a pretty easy game to play. In fact, that may be why I love the game so much...there was a lot of depth, and it is easy to play! And from what I understand, DQ gets its graphics style from the illustrator of the Dragon Ball series...and if my memory serves me right, it wasn't known for its "uber-realistic graphics"...

I know we all want to know how the game really is and everything...but when a game as popular as DQ goes to a system that is deemed to be "less ideal," despite being popular worldwide, expect a lot of fodder to come. If the game really turned out to be bad, then so be it. Just don't be gullible enough to trust fanboy reviews.

all games are good as long as they are good doesn't matter about the sales (looking at you ninty fans) and doesnt matter about graphics (looking at Sony/Micro fans)

If anyone reviews a game after one day of playing it, they are either idiots or just angry fanboys trying to rail against a game for not doing something they wanted (for a similar example, see a game like Smash Bros Brawl vs Smash Bros Melee).

These people should just be ignored.
