If the gameplay backing your stories sucks, most people don't tend to finish those stories. Gameplay>Story.
FFVII may have had a great story, but without a great game behind it nobody would have cared.

Ι am pretty damn SURE that you HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA what you're talkin about.
Halo's story and mythological universe is better than the vast majority of Sci-Fi movies and series's plots in the last decade.
A difference of 0,7 between GT review and your opinion makes you angry???

Half-Life, Bioshock, System Shock, The condemnded games, Fallout 3, etc
Game is ok. Coming from a mostly HD gamer that plays lots of FPS games...this is a decent game. This review is right on the money if not a little too high.
FEAR 2, Chronicles of Riddick (and possibly Killzone 2...i dont know as i havent played it yet) are better FPS games in 2009. But none of them are on the Wii so this is a welcome title. For FPS single player campaigns, its all about gunfights and set pieces...and this game is not top of the line when it comes to that stuff but not that bad either. Gunfights are kinda on par with Timeshift few years ago if you remember that title. Very predictable.
As far as the visuals...again its a pretty solid looking game for the Wii, but 480p is 480p...you can muster all kinds of FX in to a game but when playing on a 67 inch 1080p tv...480p does not impress.

I agree with this and have found that i am looking to GT more and more these days for this reason, even though i haven't always agreed with the scores they have given. The problem is people jump up and down everytime there is a bad review for a game they like but fail to pay attention to good quality reviews unless they have a 9.X score at the end.
probably graded more critically because it got so many game of the year awards before it was even released.
Tbh Gameplay > story > graphics
Review says Gameplay and graphics were greater than story, who cares, that's why people are still going for head shots on Call of duty: Modern Warefare and World at War till this day, why ? cuz of the gameplay not for the story..

Gears of War still going strong cuz of gameplay.
If the multiplayer is good the Conduit will have a good replay value..
Example:What makes Mariokart fun is the multiplayer, single player is meh.
Story is ok, but for a shooter game that's not the main focus.
Killzone2 weakest part was the story everything else was top notch.
