Forums - Gaming Discussion - Xbox 360 controller - No1 Contoller this Gen! Microsoft leader approves!!

I personally feel that the best controller is the PS/PS2/PS3 controller.  It hasn't changed much at all over the past 14 years and it doesn't need to.  There is no other controller in the entire world that I could pick up and instantly feel like it was a part of me.

Of course if we start talking about FPS games then nothing beats the Keyboard/Mouse.

I thought I would hate paying for xbox live and I do think it's kind of an inconvenience to have to pay for but a lot of my real life friends play xbox live so I have bought into the hype. :[

my friends don't pay for my bills, fuck them.

Don't know what that had to do with the thread. Could you please enlighten me?

Ah, yes, I forgot! Congrats Megaman2 on your recent appointment, may you piss off any 360 fanboys just as much as you piss off PS3 fanboys. I sure will get much enjoyment out of it.

I agree with OP that the 360 controller is best for traditional gaming overall. Only downside is the D-pad is horrible, and thus playing some old-school 2-D games can be a bit tricky having to settle for the analog stick for movement when the games were designed around the D-pad.

I also like the Wiimote/Nunchuk combo because they work great for games that are specifically designed for them, like Galaxy or Prime 3, but they seem to be tough to adapt some traditional games to. I prefer the Classic Controller as opposed to using the Wiimote sideways, because the D-pad and 1 and 2 buttons are too small for my liking.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

hmm, the wiimote is the obvious winner for me, and hell if u dont like it, a lot of games let u use a classic or gamecube pad, the 360 you really have to have the same pad for every game, unless u get and arcade controller for fighters, but still, playing sonic 3 on my xbox is really annoying. and trying to go down the items list in the shop in deadspace allways annoyed me, if i slightly moved my hand left id go on the other page and had to scroll really slow to avoid this

When did he get appointed to be Microsoft's leader? Was it a hostile takeover?

No hostility at all, Squillaim, Seece, Gebx, Disolitude  and Selnor all sworn me in as Microsoft Leader
