oh c'mon. people complained for years about how nintendo and third parties were ignoring core and hardcore gamers. and now since devs decided to make core and hardcore games for the wii, you say that the wii cant handle them/ wont work, not for this console.

another dumb troll thread. 3rd parties are to blame for not supporting the wii with hardcore games in the first place. wii hasnt see modern warfare, grand theft auto, and other games that sold millions on hd systems. ill bet with anyone that those games would be million sellers on the wii. theres just isnt enuff hardcore games to give as examples that they dont sell well on the wii.

It's just that no good 3rd party games ever make it to the wii. When I see something like Oblivion and Fallout 3 hit the wii and fail, then i'll gladly admit that the wii can't host 3rd parties.

Until then, we can't assume that unestablished IPs and mediocre games speak for an entire genre on a console

So according to this professional article; hardcore is defined as a game that doesn't sell on Wii, Wii has sold 30 million, Chinatown Wars 90000, the waggle box is how we refer to the Wii, we expected to be overwhelmed by The Conduit's graphics, and we buy Nintendo's main franchises because we are conditioned to do so not because they are three of the highest rated franchises in the history of gaming.

So OP, did you just wake up this morning and decide to google search "hardcore games don't sell on the Wii" to troll or is this really this best article you could find?

Whats Hardcore?  Lets see,  the guy who buys that franchise title with the new number added to it like (pt2, or pt3) and maps or the guy who buys games similar to games he likes to play (FPS)  and also purchases games such as (Imagine series or Party something and Raving Killer Rabbits)?  Me,  Im hardcore!!  I played Warhark, Genji, Baywolf, Guantlet, Heavenly Sword and other titles that didnt sell on my but made for my HD system.  Im still waiting for my (core/franchise)games to come to Wii so I can atleast try a waggle differance. If you want Hardcore (I assure you its not an M rated game) Trying everything makes you HARDCORE!!  Playing what you like (same game new number added) keeps you core/franchised. Blame the Dev/Publisher not the system its on.

If by HARDKORRRE!!1 you mean stuff like Madworld or GTA or Heavy Rain or MGS4 (90 minutes cinemas?!) no then I don't want them.

If you mean "core" franchises like Resident evil, Castlevania or Street Fighter, then yes but those are not Hardcore at all.
