Do not buy Grand Slam Tennis and wait for more reviews of Virtua tennis, if u cant wait for wii sports resort and want to try out Wm+ get Tiger Woods 10.

*update*: ok i played a little bit more now and the online part in GST is good and lag free. I Won my first matches and it makes fun coz of the leader boards.  Also the controls how u r suppossed to do it works better now with practise but it's still not precise as i was expecting it to be, thats why i still recommend to rent the game (and VT) first and then make a decision.

wow, your reasoning for not buying the game is perfect. You could at least say what your problem is rather than making baseless statements.

I thought it was fairly clear from the OP that he's saying the controls suck.

Of course you have less control NOW.... you could basically win Wii Sports Tennis by flicking left and right.

Now you actually have to try control the racquet properly. The point is to get better at the game.

I remember with the first couple of hours of Wii Sports Tennis I was having trouble controlling where the ball went, but now it's easy.... the same will be true of a WM+ tennis game except probably 2 or 3 fold.

Myself, I was always going to wait for more impressions anyway.

I don't know. IGN didn't have an issue with it. It is definitevely NOT 1:1, but it provides much more control than wii sports.

Personally I would love a 1:1 tenis game, but I suck at it in real life, and games are suppose to provide you with fantasy skills. So I think it's better if is not one to one.

i haven't tried out all the modes and online and that stuff which might be alright, i'm just talking about the controls.

without wm+ u can hit the ball with no problems and also direct the ball where u want but to get slices and top spins right it's worse compared to wii sports tennis.

with wm+ the controls is all over the place nearly no 1v1 tracking, everything with a delay. To get the direction of the ball right is a bitch, slice and top spin work usually alright and r easier to make than without wm+ but ur caracter runs all over the place so that u often stand wrong to the ball and make a wrong and not intended hit or even make a swing to early or no swing at all.

i was expecting much better and more precise controls than this, maybe virtua tennis is beter i dont know, tiger woods 10 definatley is.

EA stated to start with that GST wasn't going to be one to one, they felt the control was too unforgiving that way. Whether that was a good decision or not remains to be seen.
