so that means you have done this aproximately 36 times and invested around 1750 of your own money (not the money your scamming) to get store credit.  Seems like you are the one getting scammed here.  You do realize you have paid almost 2000 dollars for store credit.

You can get extra games or even a another console from EB Games from my exploit. It is perfectly legal and its just a loophole in the system. Bear in mind there are excluded games lists so avoid those games and buy up all the other cheap/crap games and trade them in for new games for PS3, 360 and Wii.

$10 for Edge card gives 10% extra trade-in value, lasts for a year. $50 initial outlay the cost of three crap games which can be traded in at another store. Get new game on 3 for one deal. Take game trade in at EB Games at get the $77 and you buy another 3 games for $50. with trade credits. Trade credit profit of $27 remain. Repeat process over and over and accumulate extra trade credits.

Pulling off an infinite loop in real life isn't as easy as typing it out.

I'm glad you mentioned that this wasn't your idea, it's been done many times before.

That's why these stores have exclusion lists now(at least in Aus they do), and so the only way to stay ahead of the curb is to by the games that become cheap ($20-$30 cheap) as soon as they go on sale. Also, you can't trade in more than one copy of the one game each time, so you can't just load up on the one game that's on sale now

Also, I'm pretty sure this wouldn't work the way you think it does, because you can only do the trade in 3 for 1 new game thing, you can't trade in 3 for the equivalent monetary value in gift cards. And if you trade it in just for gift cards, you'll get less value on the trade-in (I did the 3 for 1 deal when I got Halo 3:CE and on the receipt the value of games like Gears 1 etc was like $16 each at the time) because it's based on what's on their computer.

So no this won't work out each and every time (and the employees at your local one must be rejects).

NOTE: I don't do this, I cbf (the $27 gain is not worth the petrol money and time wasted finding these cheap games that are not on the exclusion list).

Well I’m glad you’re enjoying ripping of GameStop. If anyone ever came to my store and tried that we would have your name on a list and tell you never to come back. That shit does not fly at any GameStop with non-moron employees. We laugh at people stupid enough to come into our store with rapped games asking to get full credit for it without a receipt. Like most people said you must have some serious rejects at your store. If most places catch onto you ever doing this they A: ban you from any trade-ins ever or B: ban you from the store. We got a nice long list at ours with a bunch of drugys and wanna be criminals on it. So if anyone else here thinks of lessening to this fan boy, be aware that you might get banned from your local store if they catch you.
