This is what I thought about when I saw the hand waving motions and whatnot heh. It will be interesting if they can make it like that CNN interactive board they used during the election, I don't see why they couldn't.

What will you use Milo's tech for related to gaming though? Not eveyone wants to talk to virtual characters through a screen, its petty. If they could implement it into gaming (the scanning element) then fantastic, its great tech that is relevant and enhances gaming |
It will probably be bundle with Natal at launch. I can't really see a ton of people paying for it standalone. Doesn't make sense.
GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

No M$ said Autumn on GMTV. Not me. The bet starts when it's out. Do you think I'm that stupid? |
I dk, you quoted a news source that said a release date and price that seems completely unrealistic so you tell me.
Whenever it releases we will do this bet ok, sweet.
“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

Yea, it would be pretty cool playing about with it, I must admit.
I laughed though during the presentation, I was like 'why the hell is this women treating this guy like her son?'

It could have some serious RPG benefits to it.
Lol at these Autumn reports.
When did Sony say Home would come out?
I find it highly suspicious that Microsoft would announce price and date on a UK morning show while NOT giving out any such information at E3.
I also find it highly suspicious that there is nothing else on the Internet about this.
Autumn is possible -- Autumn 2010. If it were 2009, Microsoft would have released more information about it at E3.
This is a prototype right now. Impressive with potential. But whether it is a Wii Whacker or an Eye Toy Imitator remains to be seen.

I am Mario. I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble. Wii Friend Code: 1624 6601 1126 1492 NNID: Mike_INTV |

Clever.
Why did the MS conference on Monday say Spring 2010 for NATAL? It seems that the people at E3 would more likely have their facts straight than a guy on a random tv broadcast.
It is worth noting that Johnny Chung Lee, the CMU wiz of Wii headtracking/YouTube fame, works for MS on Project Natal now.

Again, I want to see this in a real application and not one of MS's 'vision' videos. That said, if Johnny Chung Lee is impressed by MS's tech, than I am impressed too. He breaks down a bit more about *how* it works and identifies people in the "cloud" on his blog.
