Forums - Microsoft Discussion - I've figured out how to use the MS Natal for FPS games

Movement is controlled through the camera. Running, ducking, diving

Shooting would be controlled through the microphone. To shoot, the player merely has to say "Pew pew pew"

Rocket launchers could be controlled with the player yelling out "BOOM!"

None of this moving your feet in racing games to accelerate/brake. Just make the sound effects and it'll do it

:D

I can't do a machine gun sound though :(

interesting, but i think the best application for this tech would be in line-dancing games

You must have been playing too many video games as a child. It goes rat-tat-tat-tat...

I can do the needler from Halo  I just tried it!

^^@JaggedSac: Awesome!
I'd buy it for those parties where everyone's so drunk, Singing games are not an option.
Of course, I'd need to pad the floor and move the breakables out the way first lol

The more I think about it, the more "Natal" is starting to kick ass....

Now that banned commercial can be used again.

Wouldn't it be easier just to make a fist when you want to shoot?  As for the rocket launcher why not just have the voice command "rocket launcher"?

Haha, welcome to 'taking joke threads too seriously 101' besides, making the sound effects would be hella fun
