Forums - Nintendo Discussion - I dont think Ill ever buy a Nintendo system again

Stop making so many stupid threads.

Agreed.

Seriously, I'm not sure many people will care that 1 person isn't going to buy Nintendo ever again and even fewer will try to convince a person that's obviously a die-hard Sony fanboy.

Also, you must be joking if you think Nintendo repeats the same pattern.

Exactly what did you think drove the PS3's sales for the first year, THE PROMISE OF SEQUELS TO PS2 GAMES. The PS3 owners have been desperately holding out for DMC4, GTA4, GoWIII, GT5, FF13, KH (Not that I'm saying it'll be on the PS3), TEKKEN, MGS4, SF, VF, Soul Calibur, KZ2, R&C the list goes on.

What's the most anticipated games on the PS3 this year? That's right, SEQUELS! (Uncharted 2, GoWIII, KZ2 before release, MGS5 even though there's no guarantee that it even exists and which platform it's on)

How is that not repeating the same pattern? If you hate repetition, you should have bought a 360. MS at the start of this generation basically had Halo, Fable, PGR and Forza. 4 game series to rest on, 4 game series that would be repeated via a new entry this generation. That was it. They had nothing else, there was no cycle for the majority of that platforms library as the Xbox had a pretty weak one as well.

Also, you do realise most big name 3rd party releases will be sequels this generation right? Same games over and over again?

Look at all the 3rd party titles the Wii has missed out on this gen: Resident Evil 5, Street Fighter 4, Fallout 3, GTA IV, etc.

2. This is my main problem..... It's always the same pattern...

Exactly.

I think Nintendo is better off without you.

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

Aaaaaaaaand the Ignore feature comes in handy yet again!

Seriously how old are you? Do you think you're important? Stop ruining the front page with attention whore threads like these we dont care.

Btw most people who whine about their being no games dont bother looking into the Wii library past and upcoming.

Everyone should do that.

I love the classic Nintendo. I owned NES, SNES, GameBoy, and GameCube.

I liked the idea of the Wii when it first came out. But I had my doubts. Now I'm glad I did not buy it.

1. Nintendo system would never be my "main" system, as it always lacks 3rd party support. Look at all the 3rd party titles the Wii has missed out on this gen: Resident Evil 5, Street Fighter 4, BioShock, Fallout 3, GTAIV, etc.

2. This is my main problem....Lack of creativity in games. Sorry. It's always the same pattern. One Mario adventure game, one Smash Bros games, one Mario Kart game, a couple Mario Party games, one or two Zelda games, a possibly one revival of a classic game per gen (Metroid last gen, PunchOut this gen).

3. It isn't a stigma attached to Nintendo, it's true... the games all cater towards a younger audience. There's nothing wrong with this, it's just not my cup of tea.

Someone convince me to get back on the Nintendo bangwagon. Plz.

Your nick, avatar pic and sig pic proves your complete lack of bias and open view on the current gen consoles.

You're complaining about Nintendo's franchises repeating themselves. And then go on to name a third, a fourth and fifth installment of a series as something better? Isn't that rather hypocritical?

Let's face it. Nintendo has already replaced you with a younger and better customer.

You kinda condradict yourself

First you list number of games that Wii have missed out on GTA IV, RE 5, SF 4 etc. etc (which are pretty much sequels that apart from pretty graphics add little) they are big blockbusters that are good but they hardly innovative.

Then you argue how Ninty games lack creativity
