Number of XBox systems sold: 24.76 Million
Percentage of XBox onwers who did not care about halo: 66%

+ numbers ot total PS2/Xbox/GC : let's say about 160M

Percentage of PS2/Xbox/GC onwers who did not care about halo : about 95 % !

 I really dont know, the freaking piracy definitely hurt the sales of halo 2 (and other games like MGS or FF)... so, the percentage of people who cares about halo is bigger, but the percentage of people who are really going to pay $60 is really small.

Indeed you are very much correct. 61% in no way represents public opinion, in fact the number is substantially too small.

If Halo 2 sold approximately 8 million and the world's population is approximately 6 billion then I think you'll find that 99.86% of people do not care about Halo enough to buy it.

The general public rarely cares about anything on any universal level, they don't care about Star Wars movies or Harry Potter books and they certainly do not care about Halo, or even Mario or Wii Sports or even videogames themselves.

ofcourse this site is going to be a magnet for people that like the wii, everybody likes to feel good about themselves and the decisions they make, which for people that bought a wii, this site confirms they choose a winner
anyway at only 60% not caring makes perfect sense
last gen halo 2 only sold new copies to 1/3 of xbox owners so saying that it is not indicative of the general public is completely rediculous

Well people are really talking bad on Halo. Its a shame that Microsoft is putting all this money out and saying Halo 3 is going to thrash the competeion, then we have people on here that hate Halo 3 and wish it fails.

Its a shame.

And? There is always going to be people who don't like Final Fantasy, Pokemon, GTA, Gran Turismo and Super Smash Bros. Melee, Brawl. So what are you trying to say?
