Forums - Gaming Discussion - PS3 Europe Preorders.

Game ports are a valid concern. But keep in mind it is only a concern for people who are unsure. Hints of a returning library, the ability to play PS2 and PS1 titles, functionality with the PSP, and a line up of very interesting exclusives rate alot stronger in the minds of those who are planning on purchasing a PS3. If you had doubt to begin with, it doesn't take much to deter a person. EDIT: I have all three systems. AS far as ports go between the 360 and the PS3 I will not purchase more than one. Choices are actually a little dificult when deciding between the two. VF5 was purchased for the PS3 because of the familiarity of the controller ( I love the controller) while rainbow 6 was for the 360. My friends who play RB6 will most likely play on live whil army of two might be a PS3 purchase, because of other friends. This is going to be an interesting generation. Considering I am not won over by online only live is cool but it is not the end all be all for a gamer like me.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

Read dude read. There is no part of me that will hide the fact I want nintendo to lose this gen. I hope they lose and MS and Sony to drive them out. I don't care who wins as long as it's not the big N.

True. Idea - games for non-gamers really sucks. No complex games only banal stuff.

Games for non-gamers are usually addictive games. Also no one ever said they would stop making games for the hardcore gamer crowd.

For about 5 mintues. I liked mario bros for the DS for a while and now it just bores me. No real replay value.

Can't comment on the Mario game. I'm a nintendo fan, but I really don't care for Mario games. Last one I played was a Snes one.

I don't mean Nintendo because they have nothing complex (ok, Zelda looks fine) but all market turning onto silly stuff. I don't like the vision only lucrative games for devs are in style of Wii-Play,Wii-Sports or Mario because it means less for me.

try sunshine, it's fun for about a day. Same for new super mario bros on ds. the mini games will make you loose hours for a day or two, but after you get bored of that there isn't much there. But good to kill a few hours.
