I found it kind of innapropriate (and a little troll-ish). Not horrible, but not necessary either. And Hus, If a pro-Nintendo Mod made the same comment on the Sony thread, I would have a small problem with that as well (as would you). I'm not saying it was the worst thing ever, just not necessary.

All I want to know is what is acceptable and what is not. If I get warned for using swear words, then why should a moderator be able to use them. If I get criticized by a mod for trolling, then I expect that mod to abide by the same standards. If something I post gets locked, it should be for a clear violation of the rules, not just because someone doesn't agree with the opinion.

Is it too much to ask for the mods to be polite and abide by a certain standard of behavior? 

he may have had a point, but that doesn't excuse crude language. Just because this site isn't targeted toward young kids doesn't mean they don't come here. Also, if we are all adults here, we should be able to hold a conversation without being crude, and the mods should be the ones setting the example. So to those who like being crude/whatever, grow up and try being civilized.

Perhaps, FishyJoe, you cursed excessively and unnecessarily. Oh, and mods can get away with pretty much anything. I mean, what, are they going to ban him for saying masturbate? Come on (no pun intended)!

i highly doubt its 90%, and i'm not saying its the end of the world, but really, but there is no need for swearing or whatever. Like i said, there are young kids that visit the site, and there is no reason not to keep the language clean and the mods should be setting a good example, not a bad one. And i don't care who it is, but it should all be the same across the board.

Wow, I made a comment about fanboys fapping like my second week here and got warned for it. Seeing mods casually drop bombs like that just makes me wonder even more if there's any set of established "rules." It either is are isn't against the rules, it can't be both.

Personally I don't see what the large fuss is over but in general having a position of authority should be someone you look up to not down upon.
