Forums - Sony Discussion - Retailers Already Selling Infamous

One of the most anticipated Playstation 3 games of 2009 will be released on May 26th. However, if you look hard enough, you may be able to find the Infamous at retail stores right now.

At least two different people were able to somehow acquire a copy of Infamous more than three weeks early. They were kind enough to share their exploits on GameSpot and NeoGAF forums.

Infamous went to gold status on April 15th, so the broken street date was to be expected sooner or later. Hopefully, this will lead to Sony releasing Infamous early (as was the case with Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction) so impatient fans can get their hands on the long-awaited exclusive title.

Wow, that's very early for a street date to be broken. I'd be ecstatic if I could find a game I'm anticipating 3 weeks early.

Hmmm... I hope this doesn't fuck up week 1 sales much... Perhaps we can get week 0 sales like we did for LBP...
