lol! Sorry, but no bro. They aren't a gaming company. Microsoft has more experience dabbling in the gaming region than even Sony does.

Miyamoto of Nintendo created the core Nintendo characters. This is why he is looked upon by as a god. He created games such as DK, Super Mario, Zelda, Star Fox, Pikmin, Nintendogs and more. Nintendo has devs, yes, but Miyamoto works closely with them with games such as Metroid Prime. Metroid was made by Nintendo. Today because the games are so complex Nintendo hires devs to come and help them.

Microsoft pulled out the money to try to secure as many games as possible to support the 360, thus attracting customers to it's product.

Sony used the the Playstation brand power to pull the money from it's loyal fanbase to support it's power play on the home entertainment industry.

What I find extremely funny about the situation is that if Microsoft used this tactic....say using it's number one selling product (Windows) to trojan horse a new product that they wanted to dominate another market (Internet Explorer), tons of people scream how unfair and horrible Microsoft was as a company.

That is off topic however; as a gamer who is not ridiculously loyal to one company or another, I am very happy with what the 360 has provided me.

Microsoft has managed to grab pretty much every non-first party Sony title to appear on the 360. Most people (myself included) thought when we bought at launch 360 we would never see the light of day when the 360 got Tekken and Final Fantasy, and both are here now. The only real third party titles left for the 360 to get are LA Noire and Metal Gear Solid 4. Pretty much everything else is third party, and for that MS deserves a medal. Looking at Gamerankings.com the only third party title I would wish to see outside of MGS4 is Disgaea 3 but I already got the first on my PSP and heard It's more of the same.



It's just that simple.

No.  I think you're forgetting that they have something like only 2 first party studios..do you mean exclusives?  I might buy into exclusives..but MS will have nowhere near as many first party titles..

Lets see, theres Rare, Turn 10 Studios, Lionhead, Xbox Live productions, Wingnut Interactive and now the newest Addition of Spawnpoint Studios (Whom are taking over the Halo franchise). That counts as being more than two. Microsoft can acquire Studios just as easy as they replaced Bungie. Do not underestrimate them.

I didn't know they had 6 studios.  More than I expected, however..Sony has 17 if I'm counting right..I could name them if you like.  Also..who's Spawnpoint Studios?  I don't get that..if Bungie isn't doing it, I don't think it'll be done right, even though I was disappointed with Halo 3.

Sony's first party games are "First" party which means they made them themselves, you really dont make any sense what so ever trying to justify that SCE is not a gaming company and they dont make games.
