I don't get how people can honestly say that Gran Turismo 5: Prologue is a demo!!!

It has seventy-some cars.

Its was $40 (now $30)

And i'm probably forgeting a few features.

For the price and all that you get with the game i don't know how anyone could consider this to be even remotly a demo.  Games like Grid and such have about as many features as Prologue.

they don't care they sold 3 million on retail and psn version sold well so people are buying it and its suppose give a taste of the full game. I like the game and rather have this and not wait 5 years for the full game

It's a small fraction of the full game say about 1/10th at most, and costs $40, about 7/10ths of what a retail game costs.

If it's not a demo it's certainly still a huge rip-off. I paid $0 for every racing game demo I DLed off Xbox Live. I also paid $0 for Forza 2 since Microsoft was nice enough to package it in with the system. Convenient since Forza was the reason I got the 360 originally.

I was originally going to get a PS3 for GT5, but it's looking more and more like Forza 3 will hit before GT5, so I lost interest. Sony needs to stop announcing games 5 years ahead of thier release date.

It's actually just 6 tracks with options for minor changes... and you can always try doing it reverse... I guess you can use that alone to count it as 12.

I remember them saying that the full game should have 75 tracks right??

I'm not saying its a bad game...in fact it looks very good, but i just don't see how anyone could think it was a demo.

Selling 3 million copies means shit, other then the fact that 3 million (blank blanks) bought a Demo, including myself... because of hype..

good thing I got it for $19.99.. makes me feel a little better..Something told me not to open the beta and return it, but I didn't...

It's a typical PS3 exclusive hyped up beyond comprehension, jaggy edges, textures flicking off vehicles, especially in replay mode, not fully tweaked driving system, very little tracks (mirrored), not to mention not to many people play needs major work...

A beta that you have to pay for lol??
