It's a small fraction of the full game say about 1/10th at most, and costs $40, about 7/10ths of what a retail game costs.
If it's not a demo it's certainly still a huge rip-off. I paid $0 for every racing game demo I DLed off Xbox Live. I also paid $0 for Forza 2 since Microsoft was nice enough to package it in with the system. Convenient since Forza was the reason I got the 360 originally.
I was originally going to get a PS3 for GT5, but it's looking more and more like Forza 3 will hit before GT5, so I lost interest. Sony needs to stop announcing games 5 years ahead of thier release date.
