What is the most disapoting ending to a game you have played?

For me it was fantasia on the mega drive, such a hard game just to get a short handshake at the end.

Valkyria Chronicles. It should have never ended

any game that says too be continued. but i have to say left 4 dead. no cutscene at all. all it says is congratulations you sacrificed your whole team to win.

Hmm... I'll have to think about this topic more but Final Fantasy Tactics leaps to mind. I didn't even realize the last battle was the last battle until I saw the end of the game. I didn't feel there was much dramatic tension leading to the climax which made the whole ending a bit of a let down.

Soul Reaver on the PS1. Awesome game that gave us a non-ending. I never did play any of the PS2 sequels. I was already burned by this series.

Anyway, for me, it'd have to be the ending of Okami for Wii (PAL).

I remember not wanting it to end. And then it did,abruptly.

007 Agent under fire boom you kill the boss and 007 jumps out the window from the explosion. lame
