So, while waiting for Punch-Out!! for Wii to release, I thought I should download either Punch-Out!! or Super Punch-Out!! from the Virtual Console. Now, I want you, my dear friends of VGChartz, to help me decide! At the moment, I'm leaning more towards Super Punch-Out!!

What do you guys think?

the original punch-out is widely held as the better of the too, and it's 300 points cheaper to boot. i think you should go with that one.

Nostalgia will make you want the original (and rightfully so), but Super Punch-out!! is the way to go.

Punch-Out!! is the better game and it has nothing to do with nostalgia.

Original Punch-Out was a tougher challenge, plus fighting Mike Tyson is classic!

They don't have Mike Tyson in the VC version. They have MR. Dream...

OT: You should go with the NES one, it's tons of fun, plus it's cheaper.

Oh lame, then I would suggest you DL the original game with an emulator and buy Super Punch Out. The SNES version is fun cuz you want to beat your records all the time

The original NES Game "Mike Tyson's Punch Out". I got the super nintendo version, but it's not as good as the original.

The original sports better gameplay and it is more of a challenge and it's is a classic. Lots of internet lulz (read: fads) are from the original. It even has freakin Mike Tyson! ..and other awesome hillarious characters.
The music is epic.

Warning!: The game is difficult. But it's worth it! If you beat this game you can consider yourself an oldschool 'core gamer'.¨
