 Yeah.  When I said "you must be joking", I was 100% serious.  GranTurismo is a fanboy fairly often, but he's not wilfully blind that I know of, which you would have to be to make that statement in all seriousness.  Unless, as I said, he just hasn't bothered to watch any of the videos.

I'm sure I missed a slew of Wii games, so it looks like the Wii has the largest number of exclusives. Anyone have games to add to the list, or any disputes, taking in regard the original poster's guidelines?

The game sold 100k in like 4 days. A couple bad reviews arent the end all be all for a game. There are many positive reviews out there too. Game informer gave it a 7.25.

 Thing is... you swap the place of "couple" and "many" in the above sentences... I won't pretend I read any of the reviews but wandering through the forums I see more mentioning of bad reviews and less of good reviews...

 Any game with that much steam behind it is going to sell a few no matter how bad it is. And I'm afraid this isn't just a simple matter of a few bad reviews when both Sony and Factor 5 have admitted to the game sucking.

hardware may be more expensive but they make up for it in software. Because there's more titles, more content on the titles, and it is CHEAPER.
When bioshock was released it was 59.99 (excluding tax) here in the states, and its PC counterpart was available for 39.99 (excluding tax) eventually you'll get more for your munnies.
and when new, more advanced titles start to come out you simply upgrade a few things, not pick up your console, trash it, and buy another one.
and you are correct. i was refering to the fact that console versions have, ore than often, lacked minor to major amounts of content included on the PC version.

Of course it counts, there are about as many people with PCs capable of playing bioshock as there are installed 360s. The only reason it sells more on the 360 is because it is marketed to them with demos and the like on the live service.

But more than that the point that you guys missed (especially you Hus) is that the point of exclusives is that they are exclusive. There is a reason for this of course, its because an exclusive game forces a person to buy a particular system in order to play it and thus increases the appeal of the system.

When you talk about exclusivity you are talking about games that enhance the systems desirability by being the only way to play that game. This is simply not the case with games like Bioshock and UT3.

$800 for my system a few months ago and I played Bioshock at 1680x1050 with full settings. If you can't build a system that runs it in 1280x720 for a reasonable price then you are buying parts from the wrong people. And I will also point out that in a year or two I will spend $100 to increase the performance of my computer by a sizable percentage when I buy another video card to complete my SLI setup.

But as of right now my computer is capable of keeping up with a PS3 or 360 , even with their best games. But in addition the price of a PC is getting cheaper constantly while it is also getting more powerful. Within 1-2 years, a PC will be far better bang for buck than either of the HD capable systems, if it isn't already...but 1-2 years and it will be undeniably so. So if graphics are your thing then wait a year and buy yourself a PC that will blow away the competition.
