Wii PC, and my bro has a 360. I have no interest in a PS3, and certaintly not for that amount of money. I had a PSX and a PS2 but they really just dropped the ball with the PS3. It will really be a black mark on the playstation name, when it's all said and done.

Wii fills all of my console needs, and most of the big titles from the 360 end up on PC eventually anyway. But if I need to I can go a few houses down to my brothers house to play some gears until it comes out on PC.

Personally, outside of the classic stuff I own I would have been content with just a wii, but I wouldn't pass up a 250 dollar 360 premium, which I didn't, once the ps3 is at around the 200 dollar or less mark I'll consider one, untill then I'd be happier with the 500+ dollars
as far as games go, the wii would have been enough to keep me content Nintendo's staples will always be great, and the gamecube got enough 3rd party support for me so why wouldn't the more sucessful wii, obviously repectable 3rd party games sell well

I HAVE A DOUBLE DRAGON CAB IN MY KITCHEN!!!!!!

NOW A PUNISHER CAB!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I own a wii, and plenty of last gen (ps2, gamecube, dreamcast, and many older gens too).

A 360 is unlikely unless Microsoft sells it to some other company.

The way things are going, I'll probably get a PS3 in about 3 years or so. It needs more games to justify the investment, several price cuts (down to $200-$300 range), and I want to get a HDTV first, which I am waiting for a 40" to fall below $500... That said, a lot could change change in 3 years, so maybe not...

So far the responses you guys have posted are very insightful, and truly paint a better picture of where the wii owners are coming from. I must admit when i saw the price of the PS3 i almost shit myself, but i got a great deal for the system off ebay about 3 weeks after it came out in NA, so i had to pick it up. I also own a 360.

From reading these responses i feel that the major issue is the Price/big games/time. I have also noticed from other sites that many wii owners are PC gamers and have spent lots of money on their PC's.

I would like to thank you all for taking the time to respond in my thread.

I have a Wii, and that is all I want.

Wii and PC gaming here, between those two it covers pretty much everything

Have been a PC only gamer for a long time, never had a nintendo console

Always forget about my PC.

Although its needs an upgrade for current games like Bioshock it runs Battlefield 2, Half-Life 2 just great.

i would say the backwards compatibility is a big deal. i dont have a ps3, which is why i think their bc issue is hilarious. i'd be pissed if i own'd it, which i don't ever plan on doing. if a system has bc it should work for all games, like ps2/wii. 360 seems to have most games but still that is not great. ps3 seems to be having major issues with bc, which is terrible. just my opinion.

end of '08 predictions: wii - 43 million,  360 - 25 million, ps3 - 20 million

Games I've beat recently: Super Mario Galaxy, Knights of the Old Republic, Shadow of the Collossus

Proud owner of wii, gamecube, xbox, ps2, dreamcast, n64, snes, genesis, 3DO, nes, atari, intellivision, unisonic tournament 2000, and gameboy

How many of you guys out there own just the wii, do you feel that you will buy another system or just stay with the wii, if you do plan on buying another system can you tell me why you have not purchased the other system yet. If games like FF stay with the PS3 and other series stay with the 360 would you buy the other systems to play these games or just stay with the wii even if the third parties don't pay attention to it like they did with the GC.

I have a full plate of life and therefore barely have time to play one game system. Thus, I will only buy the one that is most interesting to me, that is Wii. I don't care what games eventually come out on 360/PS3, I have accetped the fact that I have missed some really good games in my lifetime and missing a few more that do not get put on Wii won't kill me.

Luckily for me, this get Nintendo will get the 3rd party lovin' and I don't see the Wii being ingnored like the GC.

I own one Wii.

I would like to buy a 360. However, a housemate owns the 360, so I would not need to buy one for at least two years.

I do not wish to buy a PS3.

If Final Fantasy XIII comes out on the PS3 exclusively, I will buy FFXIII and play it on a borrowed PS3. I will not buy a PS3.
