Forums - Gaming Discussion - Do you keep a game after you finish it or do you get rid of it?

I trade or sell them off before the value drops.

I like to buy games and not even play them. 60% of my game collection is unopened.

Most of my Xbox games haven't even been played. I just opened them so that I can copy them to HDD on my modded Xbox. I couldn't fit them all on my 600 gig HDD. I used that for XBMC mostly anyways... still awesome.

I still have Ninja Bread Man. So, I never get rid of them, never. At least not purposely.

"Now, a fun game should always be easy to understand - you should be able to take one look at it and know what you have to do straight away. It should be so well constructed that you can tell at a glance what your goal is and, even if you don’t succeed, you’ll blame yourself rather than the game. Moreover, the people standing around watching the game have also got to be able to enjoy it." - Shiggy

As the subject describes above. I'm trying to keep the games I enjoyed and like. But for some reason I can't go back to them even after a year or so. It's like I don't want to play them anymore after I beat it for the first time.

Does anyone keep their games or get rid of them after you went through the game once?

it has to be pretty crappy game before i take it back, but id just give it to someone that wants it before i would trade it in.

as for games i do finish i really never consider them finished and can play them over and over.

Yep, i'm a girl

I keep it, even if I don't play it ever again

I always keep my games. I like collecting games, so I can never see myself selling off any of them.

it depends on the game...i usually keep the games i beat..but if i need money to buy another game ill trade some games in. The only way ill trade a game in is if i beat it and i didn't like it and its not a AA title (if there is such a thing) or a AAA title in peoples minds

"If new things are so great, where have they been the whole time?"

keep, always want to play it down the line.

I only keep it if I know I will be playing it for a long time......anymore I rent 99% of my games, and by the select few I like playing a lot like Call of Duty 4, GTA4, Halo 3, GH: World Tour, Gears 2.
