It wouldn't be Zelda without swords, magic, etc. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if some enemies used muskets, or maybe if Link got one as a dungeon item.

They haven't said anything, but we're assuming they've moved it forward somewhat with the advent of trains.

everyone knew that storage solution was being worked on it is no shocker. 'all those ff's' as in 2? 2 ffs that are already availble. 'how is this not a good keynote?' because he spent 40 minutes talking about his man crush on miyamoto. would of been better if it were 30 minutes of showing those games and getting off the stage. |
Okay Mr. pessimist. Yes, we all knew that a solution for storage was in the process, but we have a solution NOW. Not down the road, not later this year, but NOW. This is a big thing, no matter how much you think it isn't.
FF has not been released on VC yet (at least anywhere besides JP), and some of us don't want to shell out big bucks for remake after remake. This will give us the ability to download the game for a minimal price. Plus, the new CC Life as A... isn't a remake.
I'm sure he could have spent more time talking about games. I am not disputing this, but don't forget, this was a GDC keynote.... you seem to think that he was going to make an E3 like presentation. Well, he didn't, and we got about as good of a keynote speech as we possibly could of.
You can remain jaded if you like, as I'm sure it is in your nature, but you really can't dispute that this was a good speech.

if i thought this would of been a e3 type keynote i would of made some popping corn. i dont get excited over stuff i already know about. when sony announces twisted metal at e3 this year you wont see me go 'yay finally something i knew about already' i did think ffcc was a remake so that makes it a little better.

Why would they remake a game for WiiWare when the original can already be downloaded on WiiWare?

Thank god some people were rebellious and taped it. Wooo!
Soriku said: Not a bad show. I really want FF IV: The After and FF1. I hope they bring FF2, FF5, and FF VI to VC in NA eventually though X_X On another note, Tales of Gracia, where art thou? We should get scans today. |
is tales of Gracia the official name of (tales of ten) the Wii game?
Oh, so this thread is where all the emo meltdowns are happening.
Who has the popcorn?
