Contra On rails shooter actually sounds kind of cool, but I would way prefer a traditional contra game for wii ware maybe. i think if companies are going to make on rail shooters they should come up with new games, or use existing on rail franchises, instead of turning big franchises into them.
Also why does everyone seem to think on rails shooters are such a bad thing. House of the dead overkill, and RE UC were both kick ass. Just because like 2 more on rails shooters get anounced its like they're shovelware, and they're over saturated. I'm not going to pick all these games up but its good to have variety for everyone, and I find on rail shooters quite addictive.
Support good third party games on wii. Buy games like house of the dead overkill, de blob, madworld, the conduit and boom blox.

Where the character goes is predetermined. You just control the other actions. It doesn't offer the freedom of an FPS, but it means you can focus solely on aiming, which offers a more arcade style of shooting.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs
