Why not? My guess, DS with huge install base of >26M is reaching it's saturation level in Japan. PSP as a runner up among two relevant systems for japanese market is grabbing it's niche. Still DS software >> PSP software, but speaking of hardware sales I can't see future for DS in Japan.

The BEST edition of Valkyria Chronicles sold 4,700 last week, Demon's Souls sold another 6,200 copies.
