see the game could have been great, if it wasnt made by a bunch of ratarded devs. Seriously Insomniac would have made the game so amazing it would have had high 8s and 9s. 

 the scale of the game is amazing, just bad controls hinder it. It happens to a lot of games, they look promising, but fail due to devs who create controls that make no sense and are total crap. 

@fishyjoe - I hope you realize that there are actual games that doesnt suck ass thats coming out. Warhawk and Heavenly Sword proves it. Its just a matter of the dev team. And the first party games being released will be great because they are proven devs.

lol I agree with fazz. Factor 5 are very good devs. I think what happened is Sony forced F5 to rush the game to the market to strengthen their 07 lineup, and subsequently fucked it up.

SSJ, all I said was don't judge a game only by trailers and screen shots. For example, I didn't put much stock in MP3 or SMG until after I saw real people playing the actual game. There seems to be a lot of over hype by Sony fanboys in this regards IMO.

Simply put they tried to do to much.

Still the game is a 7 if you get over your self and just accept the motion controls. They did say they flat out did not listen to the hardcore gamers, well now they are getting killed by then. Should have done it like Warhawk and given people the choice of analog controls. We will see how it goes for them.

I don't think this changes much, the game will still sell, and the game will be rented like crazy. When they give scores this low it just tells you that ratings mean nothing. Games like Mario party get rated good when they are the exact same as the 64 ones i mean come on.

And sites give good scores for games all the time when they should of received scores of one, Def jam for the PS3/360 is the worst game ever made and it got scores of over 8 the same with the Darkness which is by far the worst FPS game i have ever played. I will still rent this game and make up my mind.

 You were doing alright, but then you had to throw in a comment about "wii fanboys" again.  If anybody here is bashing Lair, it's because it's receiving scores well below 7's.  Not because they hate the PS3 or love the Wii so much.

 Are you sure Sony forced them, or did they feel that the game was complete? Remember the game has been in development got a while, at least a good 2 years. F5 isnt apart of Sony and it isnt 2nd party. They are 3rd party, Sony has no power over them. The general fact that F5 hasnt made a decent game past StarWars based games shows how good they are.. they are only capable of a set stage type, changing that like they did with lair shows they cant do it.
