That gave me an idea, Prophecy.

What follows is a joke and is not trolling.

Halo Wars bombs in Others154,149 units.

Any way you look at it, this game is a failure for Microsoft. It will not have legs contrary to popular belief and will likely lead to a huge loss if the rumours about development costs are correct. I'm certain that Microsoft was expecting this to be a huge seller - look at their ad campaign, the huge budget, media, promotion, Halo name, etc.

What's sadder is the fact that the PS3 outsold the 360 in Others in Halo Wars' release week. Is this the final death rattle for Microsoft's console?

I wouldn't be suprised to see Ensemble shut down in the coming months or sized down considerably (oh wait). Halo just doesn't have the name behind it to generate the sales after the terrible first person shooters. They would have done a lot better to create a new IP.

I kid. Halo is awesome. And 150k for an RTS in a single region in February is pretty good.

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi
