C'mon Kwaad! You can give better answers than that. Excite truck is also NOT about get in front and win. It's about who has the most points at the end of a game gained through stunts and landings. Winning in a race merely gains you some extra points. Oh, and playing the demo at an HMV Kiosk, two things that pissed me off. Turning. Probably because I just suck with the controller. Second is the frame rate. Sometimes when I had about 2 or 3 trucks driving and crashing into each other near me, I could notice a slowdown.

Like I say. I have 4x4 ATV Offroad Fury or whatever it is. I highly doubt Excite Truck is much better. I just dont like that type of game. Motorstorm is less like that type of game, and more like something new.

Honestly I don't know when off road racers became so hyped. Motorstorm, Excite Truck either way their an offshoot of racing titles that don't hold my interest entirely. Burnout is the only thing I fully enjoy racing wise.

The difference between the in-store kiosks and the demo on the PSN is pretty significant in terms of frame rate. I'm hoping the final game will bump that up even more. What makes Motorstorm interesting to me, aside from the things mentioned already, is that the 'boost' seems to be, essentially, a rocket strapped to your vehicle. At least that's how it feels to me. Not like the boost is driving more power to the wheels... but that it's just propelling you forward, even when the wheels are slipping and sliding (or off the ground). Because of this, you can use boost in neat ways to tighten your turning radius, for example. When you get sideways, nail the boost and it'll push you towards where the car is headed in spite of the fact that the wheels are all sliding sideways. PS New guy here, hello everyone.

Yeah, that game wasn't a very good concept to begin with, so don't compare it with Excite Truck. Don't automatically assume that they're the same. They're totally different. Excite truck if you technically look at it, is not a racing game. It's more stunt driven and yes, it does have it's fair bit of crashes; not as dynamic as Motorstorm though, I'm sure. I'm just saying that excite truck IS a different game than the traditional "Get there first and bump everyone else to the side" racing game. Motorstorm is a unique game, sure, but you can't say that excite truck isn't. And yes, I guess you're right about the frame rate. It SHOULD get better when the full version comes out. EDIT And no, I do not think Kwaad is homosexual.
