And what's missing for the X360 are the games opposite from these:
The arcade games, classic games, Japanese games, platformers, casual games, kids games, family games.

That's the big missing gap on the X360 (and you haven't got many of these for the PS3 either). Xbox Live Arcade has these type of games, and that's all great, but they're not as ambitious and big budget as retail games would be.

The 360 has plenty of "Casual, Kids and Family games".  As well as XBLA arcade titles. Now platformers is totally true, and what exactly is "Japanese Games?"

No, not plenty compared to Nintendo consoles.

Dragon Quest, Animal Crossing, Zelda, Mario, Kirby, Dragon Ball are typical Japanese games.

FPS guy myself but the little one loves lips and thrillville and bully whatever the name of it is.
So I would have to disagree with your evaluation.
Oh forgot arcade Pac Man that game is a ball and brings me baack a few years.

There are plenty of games to satisfy pretty much any genre of game you would like.

yeah, its always nice to see more variety on a console. i have the 360 mostly for shooters and a wii and ds for anything else i want.

I don't need any platformers/casual games so I won't mind.

Apparently you do.  Shooters are the essence of maintstream gaming nowadays or what you call casul games.  So kinda funny you would make a division within your own gamign sector haha.

Anyways I'm not too annoyed by it but I'd love to see some developers on 360 or MS themselves really try to expand into some more genres or take bigger risks in the other genres.  At least the diversity is a lot better than the original Xbox, though, which is a good thing.

Next gen will be much different with all consoles going for both hardcore & casual markets.

PREDICTIONS:
(Predicted on 5/31/11) END of 2011 Sales - Xbox 360 = 62M;  PS3 = 59M;  Wii = 97M

I'm not annoyed. The 360 has a pretty wide variety of good games. People that label it as the FPS machine are more than likely trying to be jerks. The PS3 has just as many FPS games lol.

~Currently Playing Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank: FTOD, and Resistance: Retribution~

Not really too many fps games..
Better than the wii's library. Actually, there is no comparison.
Does the wii have a good WRPG? No. Do they have a good non-multiplatform FPS? No. Does they have some good or okay party games? Hell. yes. Does the xbox 360 lack party games? Yes. There ya go. Different strengh and weaknesses

Wii strengths = JRPG's, Party games, fitness and non-games.
X360 = RPG'S in general, Shooters, music games, basically everything else except what the wii has.

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

Obligatory dick measuring Gaming Laptop Specs: Sager NP8270-GTX: 17.3" FULL HD (1920X1080) LED Matte LC, nVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M, Intel Core i7-4700MQ, 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3, 750GB SATA II 3GB/s 7,200 RPM Hard Drive

If you would look around instead of just assume Xbox 360 is FPS-Box (just as people assume all game on Wii are mini-games) then you would see so many other genre being represent. Just because you are blind by your own bias doesn't it's true.

My daughter is currently playing High School Musical 3 singing game and DDR knock-off. My son was playing the Maw, DC vs MK3 and the SW : FU. I was playing Race Pro and Street Fighter IV earlier. None of those games are FPS and they are all 3rd party games. So yeah...whatever.

quoted for truth. I need not explain beyond what this man has said. The words "nail" and "head" come to mine. I would only add that the "FPS machine" stigma is from last generation, not this one. Understanding populas trends is key to understanding gaming. This one is antiquated.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.
