Can PSP beat DS this year ? The games looks pretty cool : is this the year Sony waiting for ?

Are you going to create more threads like this? I believe 10 stupid threads i enough for a day.

Stop spaming.

Eh? Where? NA/Europe? No chances.

Another question, another thread. No. The DS will remain cheaper, which given the current economic situation most people are in is a huge factor. Then there is the casual appeal which the PSP doesn't and never will have. Also remember Nintendo will be introducing the DSi outside japan this year which will provide a boost and while PSP has a good line-up of promising games the DS has in most people's eyes a stronger back libary not too mention a line-up for this year just as strong as PSP. Don't forget Nintendo should have 1 or 2 (at least) as yet unannounced projects under their sleeves. Also GTA ChinaTown Wars should give DS quite a boost, if only in america, finally, price drops! Nintendo can certainly afford them whereas Sony are in a much weaker position with regards to price drops. A drop from the RRP of £99.99 down too £69.99 or £59.99 would probable give a huge boost to sales.

No.. the PSP hasn't beat the DS in any year they've both been out and there seems to be a drought of games worse for the PSP than for any other system, if anything the PSP will fall further behind.

3 Letters will stop this from ever happening this year:

DSi

It's coming out in both NA and Europe and will most likely beat PSP on JUST the numbers of people who will be upgrading their current DS to the new one (let alone the new buyers)

Yes... but will it happen??? Who knows....

4 ≈ One

Not a prayer !

Do you refer to Japan or in general?

In Japan: No posible, DS has DQ IX.

In Rest: No posible (PSP is failing in other regions outside Japan).
