Lost Odyssey >>>>> FF13 visually

Star Ocean 4 is leaps and bounds better looking too, the environments in FF13 look plain and like a joke, especially the snows

I hope it gets upgraded for the 360 version

As for Star Ocean 4, well, I've never had much faith in Tri-Ace. The previous SO games were above average, but we're discussing Final Fantasy here, not some run of the mill RPG. Of course FFXIII will look and actually be better than SO4, ToV, WKC, and Verses. Period. There is no point in discussing that. It's innocent until proven guilty. Until the game proves that it isn't the baddest ass thing since sliced bread, it should be assumed AAA game of the generation, and that's all there is too it.

Now, back to your petty bickering over teh Blu-Reh, and Tri-Ace. Your logic fails you at every turn.

Why would a game released well after FFXIII sharing the same source engine, resources and even programmers be inferior in graphic? Was FF-X2's graphic inferior to FF-X despite it being a spin-off? This is completely illogical, Versus has time, resource AND precedent on its side.

Lol what? Are you blind? I think you a confusing art direction with technical achievement.

Its fine to have an opinion in that regard, in fact, I like Star Ocean's art direction better because I like anime-esque art style better than ultra realism, but claiming that SO4 much less Lost Odyssey has superior graphical from a technical standpoint is just ridiculous.

Please provide evidence that proves PS3 FFXIII has better graphics than X360 FFXIII?

I believe FFXIII should be identical in terms of graphics on both platforms. PS3 will have better sound due to having 7.1 audio compared to XBox 360 5.1 audio.

FFXIII will look better graphically than SO4 due to it obviously being released a year after SO4.

This isn't actually in rebuttal to your post but I believe on an interview with the development team by fumitsu(?) when they first announce the 360 version, they claimed that they were searching for methods to compress the FMV, I doubt this will effect gameplay but it MIGHT effect the quality of the cutscene on a GIGANTIC screen. (maybe). *cough* :)
