Not bad at all...80,000.  I was really only expecting around 40,000-50,000.

Hell, most ps3/360 games have NO legs in Japan.  WKC sold rougly the same amount of copies as Devil May Cry 4 its opening week and DMC4 dropped all the way to 35,000 its 2nd week.  Usually the #'s cut in half for week 3 so I expect 35,000-40,000 next week taking its 3 week total to around 325,000-330,000.  Not too bad.  It may very well hit 400,000-425,000 in Japan eventually.

Yeah, it's actually better than MGS4 second week...it only sold 64,000 its second week.  Of course the holiday helps, but a sold copy is a sold copy so it's still good news.

I'm surprised as well, I'll stay tentatively optimistic since it is the preview and can be wrong, but I'm happy to hear it. With these kind of sales it should easily pass some lifetime predictions for Japan within the first 4 weeks or so.

I do think it will be fairly accurate due to the preview being so close to actual numbers this past week. (207k vs 212k)

Gogo WKC :) I was hoping that the online would catch like wildfire actually and give this game some legs... I was optimistically predicting 500k lifetime sales.
