there are 14 million PSN users

If anyone's bought advertising based on that figure then they're gonna be sorely disappointed.

I think it's interesting but will fall short of peoples expectations. Paying for user content (outfits, furniture, etc.) in essentially a chat room environment otherwise is not my idea of a great time. Maybe I just don't get it. I guess I'll see when it's released.

It's absolutely amazing for some people, just look at Second Life. I just don't think that the PS3 crowds are Seconf Life-type people so I don't think it will go down too well. I could be wrong though.

We might not get it but look at second life and how many people waste time there.

PROUD MEMBER OF THE PSP RPG FAN CLUB

The question is are second life fans willing to pay the $400 admission price. I'd bet some will IF IT IS SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER THAN Second Life. However, even those fans will be dissapointed because # of people on Second Life will always dwarf that on Home.  Just my opinion.  But I'm anxious to at least give it a chance.

Home is nothing like Second life.

>_>

Oh look you have a 3D avatar and you walk around a virtual world. SECOND LIFE!

Uh huh, it's also the Sims and every RPG ever created. It is nothing like Second Life, seriously.

second life had potential but didn't make it, even with great sponsoring.

Google shut down their project.

I don't think it will be a cash cow. It might break even, but not a cash cow.
