Mine has to be Ennio Morricone, the man with no name trilogly, Once Upon a Time in the West, Once Upon a Time in America, The Hateful Eight, The Thing, The Untouchables, The Mission etc. etc. So what is yours?

Single work would be Yann Tiersen.
Over all it is hard for me to ignore John Williams. I hum one of his tunes few times every week.

Haven't watched any of the movies that Yann Tiersen has composed music for so I'm not familiar with his work. John Williams is also one of my favorites his work is very memorable also he wrote some of the best main themes (Superman, Indiana Jones, Star Wars and Jaws).

Pretty good but when it comes to my favorite Japanese movie composer I have to go old school and go with Masaru Sato.

The soundtrack to "Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulin" is just fantastic.
