Even if it's locked, words are forever - and the hard-core Sony and SDF types have their immaturity plastered all over these boards. So sad. You don't see more than a handful of folks from the 360 and Wii side condemning folks. No, we all realize in the end, it's just a game.

Col. Stubby, I recommend Halo 3, Fable 2, Test Drive Unlimited, Call of Duty 2, Mass Effect, Ace Combat 6 and try the demos on LIVE.

And Col. - even if you change your mind and head back to the Sony camp, you'd earned mad respect for broadening your horizons. +1.

Please don't categories the "majority" of PS3 fans as these hate posts are coming from about 5-7 people.

Well he pretty much invited criticism by pressing the "create thread" button . My point is PS3 fans are no different from XBOX360 ,Wii fans unless your claiming there are some mental, biological differences in people who opt for that console.

Just some cheap games I think you should at least try out:

Crackdown
Forza 2
Mass effect
Lost odyssey

Well, I am not sure how cheap they are where you live but in EU those titles are discounted now. All great games.

Fable 2 is also another amazing RPG, and get Left 4 Dead and I'll see you on LIVE :D Theres also a large list of fantastic titles that are probably really cheap by now too.

Best online games: Gears 1 and 2; Halo 2(I know right? People still play it.) and 3; Rainbow Six Vegas 1 and 2, Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead. Those are only best imo, though.

LOL people forget that Tales won't be released in Europe in 2008.

Tell me - have you NOT been reading through this thread? Link/source? Where have you seen someone who isn't a PS3 owner even remotely saying stuff like what has appeared in this thread? Saying 'you're gonna regret it' when a person no longer supports your console of choice?

I have seen folks who are ultra strong in just one viewpoint. The words 'close, narrow minded' and 'delusional' both come to mind.

It's $30 but you may be able to get it for less on Ebay.  I also recommend this.  And then he should figure out someway to get his 360 online.  Microsoft sells a $100 wifi option but there are less expensive ways to go about it.  I also recommend a used 2nd controller, as long as it is wireless.  OMG, to think, some people still use wired controllers.
