cant say that i know anyone in that age group, male that uses one as primary system, and only 2 that have one and an hd.

the only wii only gamer i know is a girl 24, who wants a 360, but has not worked it into her budget, she has an xbox form last gen, on the 360, she wants forza, viva pinata, doa, and dead rising.

Most of my friends who are 16-18 have PS3's or 360's, a lot have Wii's too though.

Define primary a bit more clearly. I know a bunch of people who own and play the Wii. A lot of them also have a 360 and gaming PC though. which one they use primairly is hard for me to figure out. I would sya I primairly use the Wii, but I have been playing my DS and 360 mostly the last few days because of the new game on them.

There is a coolness factor. We sponsor cadets from a nearby military college and various teenage boys from the neighborhood. Whenever they are in a group of their peers they only play 360.

When ever they come over by themselves without their friends they almost always go for the Wii.

My wife and I have been observing this and think it's funny as hell.

here ps3 is most popular with the people in my age range 16-25 . 360 2nd actually.

lots of people i know bought wiis but most dont play it or resold , truth be told they are not really videogamers

I don't think I know anyone in my area who openly admits to owning a Wii.

for my area it's xbox 360,wii,ps2 and sometimes ps3.

WOOT!!! its been 1 month now and i gotta say, xbox360 is now my preferred console. I now understand HD gamers..I see the light.


as for the Wii..umm.. its good..

why would you assume otherwise?..

you asked wich one was played more..yet in the OP you state that you don't know anyone at all in your region that plays the Wii primarily..and with that I'll have to disagree

you have to know at least someone..even if they have two consoles..or all
they might still use it more..

I'm not sure what happens where you live..but here it's pretty mixed..can't say wich one's played more HD or Wii

but I do know that PSP and DS top all of them here..tons of DSes..same for Ipods and Iphones some PSPs..and like..hardly any consoles..

No its my secondary console.

All my mates have a Wii as well.

All over 30 and all have kids !
