NXE is awesome, it doesn't get much better than having netflix right there on your console, not to mention, sharing photos over Live, 8 player party chat, full installs on your HDD... and all the games. The community, user made games are particularly cool. There's a definite throwback feel to the very beginning of video games when you look over a title and under 'developed by' you see the name 'Bob'.

The 360 is absolutely trouncing the PS3, the race for second just may be over. That shouldn't be important to me, but it is because of all the arrogance both Sony and it's diehards have thrown towards MS for the past few years. Instead of embracing something new and innovative, they clung to everything Sony and decided the xbox wasn't worth the time and didn't deserve the respect that it most certainly does. Oh well, your loss. Great machine, great update, great games.

Truthfully though, i wasn't too optimisitc about the update but its exceeded my expectations

Especially considering how quickly they got it out there after announcing it.

Some "other" consoles should take note.

Im going to enjoy home according to some beta tester mates i have ( A huge fans of ''real life'' stuff when u walk around and it looks sweet! ). So dont you feel sorry for us! Enjoy your awesome NXE's. We'll just play Resistance 2 + LBP And probably Killzone 2 until we get our awesome experience :).

funny thing, even LBP and R2 are sony big hitters, and hype trough the roof

LBP and R2 numbers just couldn't make it

well ive tried the nxe and thought it to be crap, but thats my opinion.

the 360 isnt absolutly trouncing the ps3 at all, ps3 has sold nearly a million extra consoles this year than 360 but i wouldnt call that trouncing on 360.........the price cuts have made 360 a cheap console to purchase as a gift this fall, get over it.

when price cuts happen in 2009 they sure will, i predict ps3 will start selling more than 360, but that still wouldnt count as one trouncing over the other,,,,,,,u have just opened a blatent flame bait thread

imo ps3 has had the better choice of games this year, thats just a question of ur own prefrences at the end of the day

What Monty is trying to say, is that your thread makes you come off as an elitist prick who does exactly what you accuses the Sony Diehard fans of doing. You don't really give the PS3 a chance, and you yourself are missing out on a great system and great games. But c'est la vie.
