Forums - Sony Discussion - Care to try my LBP level (part 2)

Well the servers seem to be pretty stable now, and i've uploaded version 2 of my LBP level, which includes pretty much what the level will look like, but its still in the beta stage. If you guys don't mind, please take time to test it out and give me some comments :) thanks in advance.

The level's called Ninja Infiltration v2. I hope you like it :D

bug, I'm going to post this level in the official lbp thread if that's ok with you, you are a member after all.

yeah sure. i hope people try it and tell me about the bugs

I can't give it a full review because the death seemed a bit buggy and I kept dying when trying to travel up that tunnel with fire on either side when it didn't look like I should have.

One comment I would make is that the lightning drops seemed like a bit much and perhaps should be toned down in size and frequency.

...

yeah the tunnel thing is rather bugged at the moment, i'm trying to figure out a change to that in the next version. i'm not sure why i keep getting burned too when it looks far from the fire, but it just kinda adds to the difficulty level that i want :D

what do you mean by lighting drops?

oh yea, the level's made to be difficult. :D only for those expert lbp players out there! :P

Assuming my non-religious copy ever arrives I'll give it a try...

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

But I always feel that there's difficult, and then there's random unfair. the drops just seem to be too frequent and hard to time. I got through them but I was cursing the design decision.

...

yeah i'm going to tweak the difficulty level a bit, but its going to be just as challenging. thanks for the feedback :)

play my level!! :D

bug - I tried your level and it was very hard. I couldn't get past the catapult in the beginning. Is it obvious how to pass this part or is it just luck?

Thanks for the input, Jeff.
