I'm trying to think how much time I would need off of work, and to do nothing but eat sleep and play video games, to play and finish all the games I want to play right now.

And the amount of time I would need seems to be ridiculously high.. how are we supposed to keep up with so many games?

How do you decide how long you play a game for before you put it on the shelf and start playing another?  Personally I preffer to finish a game before starting a new one, but I am no longer able to do this, due to lack of time and the massive numbers of quality games coming out.

As for time off needed... i figure about 7 months.. taking into account that during those 7 months more games I would want to play would come out. 

Secondary question... is finishing a game important to you?  Or is that an oldschool ambition?

well you probably dont need to play them all right now. there will be a lull in games, when you will have more time to complete them.

Dude, I'd need over a year to finish/play all the games I have and the ones that will be coming out.

Finishing a game is very important.. I just wish I could do it more often.

A year, holy crap... man, a year off to play video games SURE WOULD BE NICE.

Lego Indiana Jones -- I should really finish this

Battlefield Bad Company (really played it just for the MP)
Umbrella Chronicles -- I was disappointed by this, although that's a given considering my introduction to the RE series was RE4 for the Wii!
Metroid Prime 3 -- Prob about 85% complete too!

BioShock -- CURRENTLY PLAYING

Lists are a little uneven...

I've finished every game I've bought this gen. I really do feel the need to finish a game before moving on.

Oh wait, Ninja Gaiden Sigma. I'm two levels from the end and I can't stand the sight of ghost Doku anymore.
