If your focus was to play and finish gamess...how much time would you need?

I'm trying to think how much time I would need off of work, and to do nothing but eat sleep and play video games, to play and finish all the games I want to play right now.

And the amount of time I would need seems to be ridiculously high.. how are we supposed to keep up with so many games?

How do you decide how long you play a game for before you put it on the shelf and start playing another?  Personally I preffer to finish a game before starting a new one, but I am no longer able to do this, due to lack of time and the massive numbers of quality games coming out.

As for time off needed... i figure about 7 months.. taking into account that during those 7 months more games I would want to play would come out. 

Secondary question... is finishing a game important to you?  Or is that an oldschool ambition?
