After reading through this thread (and a few others to do with the RS beta here), I've decided to apply to get in the Beta, even though I wasn't orgionally going to bother.

I signed up at https://beta.myresistance.net/en-us/SignIn

Anyone have idea how long it'll be before I find out if I've got it?

The MP is pretty fun. You really need to stick together with your teammates. My only gripe is that since there are a lot of people, they get in your way. The maps are pretty big with no lag at all. Also with 30 people in your team, nobody seems to talk.

Most people in the big games or unranked games in RFoM never talked either.  I also think you need to press a button or something to talk in these big games and people might not know that.  The Co-op mode i was finding atleast 50% of the people had mics.

The Co-op mode is amazing, i played it for hours on end last night.

The competitive multiplayer is a blast, but the 8 player cooperative is the true star of this show.  The number of enemies spawning from all sides is insane.  It is anything from easy, and it is the only time I have ever dropped into an online game and other players were actually trying to coordinate strategy.  I think the leveling, xp system, and beserks steal the best parts from COD4 online.  The competitive multiplayer is similar to COD4 in the fact that it is very friendly to new players, but it still has the speed of the original Resistance.  Also, the frame rate is excellent and there is no lag even at 30 v 30.  As I mentioned earlier, there is some room for improvement on the graphics side, but it is still a great looking game.

Havent played Killzone 2 i really want it :(

What the hell, is it the new thing that 360 owners try to make small of Resistance 2 with Killzone 2? Wierd, especially since they haven't played either.

I'm about to play the Beta myself, I'll write about it later.

Im sure PC owners will belittle it also if it gets too much praise for a console FPS.
