I don't care for many of the newer voices, but I still really look forward to the game. :)

Honestly? That's one of the stupidist things you could have wrote. If you're such a plot/dialogue whore, than you shouldn't be playing video games at all. Even our precious Final Fantasies are filled to the brim with cliches, so what made you think that this would be different?

And to lose interest because of dialogue? Seriously, people have become so picky about nothing that it isn't funny anymore.

You're right. I generally dislike the writing in video games. That's why I dislike so many JRPGs, and espescially Final Fantasies.

My problem with this, was that it is their first English trailer, and just about every single sentence was a cliche / something totally unrealistic.

And why should I not play video games? That's like saying a "graphics whore" shouldn't play video games, but rather watch TV.

I'm fine with games with little focus on dialogue and such, but a game with much focus on it, and it's crappy, that simply makes me uninterested.

I simply like to know why I'm doing stuff, and not just because I'm fighting evil or revenge.

I think someone hasn't been paying much attention. In most RPGs there are tons of different motives. They don't always write it or say it.

 Well, duh! I'm not saying this is the case for most games, but a few games just seem like that's the only reason, and I really dislike that. I haven't checked a lot on this game, but it seems far less promising now than at any time before.

I liked that trailer! Dialogue wasn't anything I didn't expect and I don't mind it at all. Can't wait to see the reviews for this.

The dialogues in this game (well, in the original ToS) are extremely good. It's certainly not worse than anything you would find in any other video game, tv shows or movies. Sure, it's not the level of really well-written movies but not any games are.

 Really? Well, that's good. No reason for me to be turned away by this trailer then.

PS: I should stop posting in these threads. Every single time someone has said something along the lines of "that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard".

I hope it come with subtitles in spanish
