Although that 6ghz part was hysterical, but it's just too over the top and people will know your posting just to piss them off ami i producing things by myself????????????? i am just posting links which reveal facts.............how could i be a troll then????? did i invent those benchmarks????am i an enginneer at NAMCO???
Sometimes over the top can be funny, just dont go too far (you're on the edge, BTW)

I failed to see how anything you've said applies to my post, I didn't even mention the X360, I was talking about this Old ps3 with the compatible ps2 chip with the new ps3 that emulates ps2's hardware. Nonetheless if you look at the X360 racers the ps3's ridge racers is hardly something the x360 cannot handle, even if that's technically true 90% of the gaming community won't notice and another 9% won't care. In fact on that note there are alot of people that think the x360's Ridge Racer 6 looks better then ps3's Ridge Racer 7. Notice here: Ridge Racer Comparison Pictures Granted a site called Microsoft is awesome would tend to be baised, but nonetheless pictures don't lie.

MS made the comparisons by downgrading RR7 to 720p with component cables firstly RR7's full glory was noticeable at 1080p ONLY + HDMI..............rr7 looked crap at 720p without HDMI. however this is what NAMCO said regarding RR7:- Not one to blow his own trumpet, Teramoto also expressed his pleasure to offer RR7 in 1080p, at 60fps and in 5.1, something he claims is only possible on the PS3 http://www.pro-g.co.uk/news/30-10-2006-3931.html YOU HEARD THAT :_____ONLY POSSSIBLE ON PS3. MS cant compare rr6 and rr7 since rr7 runs at 1080p at 60fps and rr6 runs at 720p at 30fps

If removing the chip reduces the price of the PS3 for consumers, that's a good thing. Emulating more chips in software will likely reduce compatibility until they can reproduce each chip's functionality cycle-perfect, but along the way the potential exists for higher rendered and output resolutions, as well as applying filters to the graphics output beyond simple bilinear filtering. It's only a first step, but definitely good news for those of us who are waiting until the PS3 comes down to something closer to $200.

yeah...and nobody cares.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

As for it becoming compatible with more over time, that stinks, right now is when you want the compatiblity, when the ps3 has few games and your relying on a collection of ps2 games, later on most people will have moved on to the ps3 titles. As for this new system being better, that's just Sony hype to actually make you think taking something away from the system is better for you. Do you really think they'd have some ps3s run faster then others? Like a new game comes out and reviews say it's a 7.5 on the old ps3s because it's choppy and can't handle running 30fps but it's a 8.0 on the new ps3s because it runs smooth. No, they'll make sure you don't know the difference between systems so even if it was better it'd be worthless. ridge racer ran at 1080p at 60fps...............a feat which x360 would never be able to acheive according to NAMCO. The framerate dips were due to improper coding. Dont forget the CELL is a minimum of 20x as powerful as XENON + any other pc cores. dont argue here is the link http://www.vgcharts.org/forum/thread.php?id=444&start=0#end http://www.pro-g.co.uk/news/30-10-2006-3931.html rr7 cannot be produced for x360. LAIR, ff13, DMC 4, MGS4 (full fledged) cannot be produced for x360.
You're the last of a dieing breed. Godspeed.

So they decided to go with the "popular" Microsoft route of BC for Europe? Sorry Europeans. It's like Sony set out to fail, you know?
