You guys are definitely turning me off of the idea of maybe trying to plat Mirror's Edge someday if I find it cheap.

If you like it enough, then it wont be that big of a deal. The only reason I platinum'ed ME was because I liked it so much

It's a very fun game that sadly sometime gets frustrating  when you fail hardcore.

Still for me it's a case of ' one more, this time I will get it right' that keeps me playing till the middle of the night...

Yeah, the game has its shortcomings alright, but I know how you feel

I spent ~20 hours getting the speed run for chapter 2 done, and a great majority of my runs were a little over 3 minutes long. That is one hell of a lot of restarts.

Good News Everyone!! And especially good news to Arcturus.

"Once PlayStation.com updates with its new Trophy tracking features, you'll be able to check your PSN level, Trophy count and lists for each individual game from anywhere with internet access.

The update is due to go live tomorrow. The functionality will be very basic at launch, allowing you to simply check your own Trophy stats. After a later update, you'll be able to compare your Trophies against friends' and "look at your Trophies in new and interesting ways." We're hoping the info will be made available for third-party applications and websites to access at some point in the future, too."

Hmmm, looks like I'll still have to update my Playfire card a little bit longer.

I saw that, great news, I assume phase 2 is the mygamercard copying time, I have been waiting for them to include that for ages

Anyway, beating it on Elite seems impossible, I struggled at the end on normal, but I should be able to get most of the other trophies

Looks like RedhairedShanks sneaked by and beat us both Hideok by the way.
When I checked his gamer card yesterday he had 12 platinum !

Doh!!

I must add him to my friends list so at least he can't 'sneak' by again.

What annoyed me about the jacknife speed run was this one single jump, it is a very short sideways wallrun and grab onto a ledge above in the sniper area, saves a good amount of time, you can't afford to not use it really.

So many times though I just wouldn't grab for some reason.

Oh, and the buggy 3rd pipe near the very end, I once got to the end with about 70s to finish the last bit, which should have take about 20s, except this buggy pipe I would jump to and just pass through it and fall to my death, over and over.

I eventually did Jacknife with about 3 seconds to spare, but I know I can do it far far quicker with over a 90s or so spare.

I did chapter 3 yesterday, I am working on chapter 4 today which shoudn't be too hard as I did 11min27seconds in my recon run and I died like 7 times to trains and got stucked 30 seconds in an area...

Tricky part is I am trying to jump over the electrified fence at the start and I fail that move 9 times out of 10 so I need more practice with it ( and I'm never gonna do like the guy with the best time, the guy gets over the fence and on top of the building in the same frickign move !!!). I might give a try to chapter 2 after chapter 4, it's the chapter I actually know the best by now..

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

@HideoK: Thanks for sharing the great news! I've been waiting for this day to come. Hopefully, this new interface will allow for quick and easy data collection. If less time is spent collection the data, more time can be spent creating and posting additional charts and stats.

Fucking sweet! I just hope we get the functionality expanded quickly

That's sweet that they're finally getting it to track our trophies.
