it most likely won't even make it to the top 10 in sales .. but will probably have decent legs.

rock band wii
rock band ps3
wiifit (if supply there)
mario kart wii (if supply there)
wii play (has not been off the top 10 since release)


that is most likely 7 to 9 titles of the october top 10...

I'm looking forward to KZ2 not LBP or White Knight Story, now those two are amazing looking games. LBP just seems like a time consumer, I never liked Sims type games, I want my deep immersive stories, like MGS4 type games.

Maybe I'm just confused about what LBP is, I've watched the 30 minute info video and the video of Phil and the devs demonstrating it on stage, but it reminds me of an open-ended platformer, so I'm stuck wondering what the point is.

I hear people comparing this to a Spore type game but Spore has a point, which is to immerse the player into the theory of their existance, using creativity as a controller. But I only see a cute "sackboy" and people taking pictures of their private parts and making banners out of them in game for LBP. ^_^

Why sad?  I didn't see him (or anyone on this thread) hoping for the game to fail.  This isn't Wii Music we're talking about here...

LBP will be a success. If it will be a HUGE success depends on if people really get on with the map creation.

Also I'm not a reviewer nor a fanboy I love my ps3 and 360 the same, in fact i'm mainly a PC Gamer.   With that said there were too many games to play so here are the ones I tried and what I think.

Resistance 2 = Good , like Gears more of the same .

Gears 2 =  Good but is more of the same, just bigger.

Fable 2 = I was impressed

Socom = I don't generally like 3rd person and i wasn't totally convinced

Killzone 2 = Graphics are indeed amazing , gameplay was like any other good fps.

Left for dead = 2nd best game of the show  for me

Little Big Planet = Game of the show for me , if you like Super Mario games how can you say you won't buy this?

Starcraft 2 = It's all of what we expectrd but...see below

Warhammer Danw of War 40k 2 = In my opinion was more impressive than Starcraft

Street Fighter 4 = Can't wait for this one

Dead Space = this game is going to appeal to the Bioshock fans, it was GORY

Resident Evil 5,  Prince of Persia, Call of duty, Heavy Rain = all good games

There were many more that I only had time to glance at it.

Bottom line guys stop being a fanboy if you enjoy video games why not support all systems, remember if all system do good then it just means competition and that brings out the best of companies making this things so we all win.  Oh notice that I really didn't check Nintendo products I think even though it's selling like hotcakes their products are for the casual gamer not the core.

Won't make top 10 in sales?  You're completely insane.  This game has more hype than any game you put on your list.  Before you bunch your panties, I said HYPE.  Yes, it does.  I would be surprised if it was lower than 3rd, whether it turns out to be a good game or not.
