Tekken.

Let's add one vote for Tekken! I've only played DOA2 on Dreamcast and it was fun but I've never been interested enough to buy the other games. Tekken on the other hand has had a grip on me since Tekken 2. The only misstep was Tekken 4 which really disappointed me but Tekken 5 fixed all this!

nothing can compare to tekken when coming to the fighting genre.....

people(males) only buy/play doa because they are lonely and don't have a gf(they probably live on porn sites too),so sad....
anyway,look above and see how many people like doa because of the unrealistic girls featured in the game,nothing is mentioned about a great fighting game when doa is mentioned.......

Street fighter is and always will be the best fighter.

OT: id have to say a draw as i like both Tekken and DOA.

I say this because DOA in my opinion is too slow, doesn't have as many fighting style, tekken's story line is better and the stages have always been better in Tekken.

Dead or Alive for me. When you're drunk you don't want to worry about remembering 10-strings

Tekken all the Way, Check out Tekken combos on Youtube they DOA ones, You'll See Tekken is the vastly superior fighting game ;)

Dead or Alive of course Tekken becomes so slow motion and I also think the flow in Dead or Alive is much better then in Tekken also Tekken 3 was the only Tekken game thatmade me wanna play it some years later. But combos are better in Tekken but it is not nearly as fun as Dead or Alive.

In order of skill you should find most people go
SF (particularly 3rd strike and zero 3)
VF
Tekken
SC
DoA
