Got mine at launch and still not problems either

Around the Network

Since may with only a few problems. Every once in a while I will have to reinsert a disk because of a bad read, and then once after an update I had to resync one of my wiimotes. Although I am not *positive* that wiimote had been synced previously, this was before any of my friends had a wii and i remember playing a 3-player game (only 3 wiimotes), so i am pretty sure it was synced prior to then.

Since December without a problem.

Satoru Iwata, Nintendo President. Only slightly paraphrased.

Have a wii and there no problems at all. My PS3 locks up at times only when your surfing the web. My cousins 360 never broke down but had scratch his disc even when he did not moved up( scratched 4 of his games Gears of War, Crackdown, Rainbow Six Vegas and GRAW) good news he sent it to microsoft and his 2 first party games( Gears of War and Crackdown) and got a great working console and new copies of GEARS OF WAR and Crackdown but had to rebuy Rainbow Six Vegas and GRAW.

Since June without a problem (Hurray). Also bought one for a friend in March. No problem, even though a kid was running around and jumped on it. Hard.

Had mine since launch ...

I do have a problem, the disc drive has been getting steadily louder for a couple of months and I believe the system is defective. I intend to call Nintendo about it but have been distracted and (since the system still works) have not seen the need to do anything about it yet.

Have you checked if there's any foreign objects in there? Last time I heard a story like this, someone put coins into the optical drive of the Wii.

As for my systems, I get 2 of them during february. One of them have a little problem with one of the wii-mote in that when I turn off my Wii with the power button on wii-mote, sometimes the power on the wii-mote not used for turning off Wii stays on and I had to manually turn my Wii on then off (no big deal). The other system froze once, so I turned off, then turned on and it was back to normal.

I am a PC gamer, and also have a NDS now, but without access to a Nintendo Wii until End of 2007.

Currently playing: Super Smash Brothers Brawl(Wii), Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer(DS), Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime (DS), WiiFit(Wii)

Games Recently Beaten: Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King (Normal; Very Hard after the next DLCs become available)

Had mine since December 4. There has been some green pixels, but that went away. Froze up twice on the first update. Since then no problems.

Had mine since January with very few issues.

A couple times wiimotes haven't synced but I simply unplug the power and it works fine after that. I do have a friend who's Wii started loading slowly, but he sent it in and they fixed it and sent it back within a week and a half.

3 months after launch and it works fine although it has slowed down considerably in load times...dont know why?

Wii ID: 3598-1817-7961-3393. PM me if you want an add

If it wasnt for MGS4, the PS3 is unnecessary

That's an occaissional issue with Wiis.  My friend had the same thing happen.  Go to Nintendo.com and use ther system to email support that you need a repair.  I don't know if your waranty is still good this late, but you should be able to find out either on the phone or through their website.
