Holy smokes this is a legitimate music creation tool. I thought it would just be a cheesy sequencer but this thing has some depth.

It looks like a mini-version of Sonar (but a damn good one), and with the instruments already included! Must buy!
Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Yes, it will work with GHIII instruments.
Good lord, you can even control the lighting for the entire stage during your song with the editor..these guys have gone beyond details they are just taking this to a whole new level.
My expectations have been exceeded several times over.
edit:
Also at the end of the drum walkthrough he mentions that velocity sensitivity will only work if you're using the Guitar Hero Drum Kit...this is pretty obvious but it implies that the RB drum kit will technically work. Not a confirmation but the way he worded it certainly made it sound like it would be compatible with everything except the velocity sensitivity.
edit2: nm they mean other midi drum kits in general
The RB drumkit doesn't have velocity sensitive pads. It will work, but you won't be able to do different sounds on the same pad by hitting it harder or softer.

If they are smart they will both cooperate on the instruments a bit, I am FAR more likely to buy both games if the instruments just work. I really don't want to have to pick one or the other but with my first purchcase in the genre being GH and GH4 being an absolute first day purchase for me (as a Wii owner RB isn't as good as GH for us) I don't really have a choice and I'm sure many RB owners feel the same way. I hope this is the start of a trend.
I'm a musician, and I kinda look down upon this sorta thing, as it just gives people who don't dedicate time and effort into learning something a means to create more bland and uninspired music that the world doesn't need
sorry, but anyways, I'm really surprised by how powerful this thing is. I really have to give them credit for how much they give you control over. props to the guitar hero team
