"I guess the format war is finally over..."

No. It's looking as though it will be over. But it is not yet over right now.

You all waited over a year. You can at least have the patience to wait until an official announcement, before declaring this over.

Just keep your pants on.

My arent we a bit touchy today?

The keywords we're looking for are "I guess"

Well at least you are admitting that was a guess. I've seen a lot of liars insisting the "knew" this was going to happen.

At least I'm admitting? Wait, what? You're the one who wrongfully assumed I was insisting I "knew this was going to happen"eventhough I phrased my comment pretty clear that it was just a guess. -_-
sure their might have been a lot of liars and you're getting annoyed but that doesnt excuse your behavior.
how can you act like this little misunderstanding was my fault?

Did you read my reply? It indicated I am not accusing you. I'm accusing others.

Not unless they are stupid. They should be focusing on convicing the mainstream to accept blu-ray.

And don't tell me the mainstream is going to blu-ray anyway. That's a lie. DVD is still in the way, and I think the blu-ray companies know that.

BTW, am I the only who remembers this thread was started by a known troll, who has actually been banned for months?

Taking onto this thread just makes you suckers, not realy fans of hi-definition.

I agree with Lordthenightknight. Anyway, won't it be more fun for PS3 fanboys if this thread stuck around a little longer to rejoice in the pain of HD DVD? Lol.

Would rejoicing in pain of others sell more blu-ray, or would actually buying blu-ray movies be a better way to prove their fandom? Focusing on HD-DVD right now is just going to hold blu-ray back, and I hope the companies are smart enough to avoid that. Looking back on accomplishments is what made the PS3, and the PSP, falter.

wtf does that even mean. You argued for months and were wrong. This was never about HDM vs DVD, it was BD vs. HD DVD so stop trying to belittle the HDM format war. HD DVD lost, people, like myself, tried explaining it to you logically it was only a matter of time based on the obvious and proven variables of content, retailers, CE support, etc......you were wrong. Stop trying to belittle the people here that were right, suck it up, and move on. as soon as Toshiba announces theyre done, prolly monday morning this thread should be locked, but id be lieing if i said it doesnt feel pretty damn good to make a correct investment and be accurate in analyzing a market like HDM from the get go.

wtf bro.why do you act like th eposters here have ANYTHING to do with the BDA or promotional groups. this is a thread about HD DVD vs. BD, it isnt our damn job to promote BD or represent BD in any way shape or form. Not too sure where you got the idea this thread is anything more than a debat eon formats...i understand you realize you were 100% wrong and began shifting your focus off topic to try and come out on top, but im pretty sure everyone can see through you here and your only making yourself look like a joke.
