Microsoft's press conference will begin in ~16 hours and thirty-eight minutes from the time of this post.

DKII will be there covering the event live, but as it happens, feel free to use this thread until the news is summarized, cleansed, clarified and posted on the site.

Nintendo's conference follows ~23 hours after Microsoft's and Sony's is 2 hours after that. We'll put up threads for those two tommorow.

Until then feel free to focus on what has been discussed, such as the new SKU and the 20 gig at $299.

I'll be keeping an eye out on how accurate my 'tidbits' piece ends up being as well.

Not a BIG fan of xbox but i hope they show some more of Left 4 dead

I look forward to it, hopefully there are some big announcments.

Oh, and I think Nintendo has the worst timeslot.

Microsoft definitely has the most to prove this year, which makes me all the more interested (read: salivating!) at the prospect of what they have planned. Despite all the leaks, they`ve continually stated that they still have some completely unknown aces up their sleeves. Could one of them be the Halo squad-based shooter in Shameless`s threadÉ

-Gears 2 will be epic
-Banjo will be great
-Fable is getting better and better
-The mysterious new Live update will be unveiled
-Left 4 Dead showcased
-Bioshock 2 announced as 360-exclusive
-Dead Rising 2 (pleaseÉ)
-Definitely more I ain`t thinking of.

The way things are going, Mass Effect 2 has a much higher chance of being 360 exclusive. The fact that they are porting BioShock shows that they have a PS3 team already.

The big question is where to watch it, because IGN are also going to be showing it

KOTOR 3, timed exclusive for 2009
Mass Effect 2 teaser, 2009 release announced, no platforms detailed
GTA IV DLC, it will be a new area with extra missions, of course it will be overpriced (they charge you for themes!!!!)
Ace Combat 7 (more hope than expectation) exclusive, 08 release
Lost Odyssey 2 teaser 2009 release
A Halo trilogy remake release (not full, just adding in acheivements to the older ones)(more hope)
Halo squad based thing
Teasers of Alan Wake and Halo Wars for 2009
Show of all their jRPGs
Lots of GeoW 2, Fable 2 and Banjo Kazooie
Xbox Live price cut and dashboard update
No mention of EU release for 60GB
