Forums - Sony Discussion - What makes you glad you chose PS3 over 360 the most?

Nothing, I got both and enjoy the 360 that much more. Thanks for asking though.

Obviously then this topic does not apply to you because the question is for people who chose ps3 over 360.

1. Free online gaming
2. Blu-Ray capability
3. Better media server capability

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

Stop saying that, people can come in here and say whatever they want as long as they stay respectful and more or less on topic.

I have a PS3, but I did not choose it over the 360.
I may someday buy a 360 and will enjoy it.

(i.e., I didn't buy a PS3 for any negative reasons of a competing product)

Precisely.  I wanted hi-def games and hi-def movies.  Since I believed from the start that Blu-ray would ultimately triumph over HD DVD, the PS3 was the logical choice for me.  I have since added a Wii.  I don't think I'll ever buy a 360 except MAYBE near the end of this generation when the system is $100-$150.  Then I'll catch up on things like Gears of War and (this might shock some people) Perfect Dark Zero.

Keep this in mind when reading what I type...

I've been gaming longer than many of you have been alive.

MGS4, R&C:F, MGS4, GT5, MGS4, FFXIII, MGS4, Blu-ray, the fact that Halo sucks, and oh yeah, it doesn't burn up once a month ;)

sorry, but I truly loathe MS personally.

??? does this further damage the reputation on PS3 fans??? haha, like that actually matters, we all know the true idiots out there have flocked to all 3 consoles and have acted accordingly... I'm just an ass XD

360 COST TOO MUCH WHEN CONSIDERING THE PURCHASE OF THE WIFI ADAPTER AND ONLINE SERVICE (xbox live)

IF I EVER BOUGHT A microsoft console I WOULD ALREADY OWN A PLAYSTATION CONSOLE
IN OTHER WORDS,A SONY CONSOLE IS A MUST EACH GEN FOR ME (IT IS CERTAIN)
